Boodles Boxing Ball


The prestigious and fashionable Boodles Boxing Ball was held this year at the Grosvenor House Hotel on Saturday, September 21, 2013. The ball was well attended by Royals including Prince Harry, Princess Eugenie, and Princess Beatrice as well as Zara Phillips, Cressida Bonas, and Pippa Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge’s sister.

The 30-year-old Pippa Middleton wore a floor-length gown with a bright tangerine skirt and black halter neck top. The dress was made by designer Catherine Deane. She accessorized her ensemble with a black clutch purse and black peep-toe shoes. Her brunette hair was styled in graceful loose curls. Pippa Middleton was all smiles as she entered the Grosvenor House Hotel with her stockbroker beau Nico Jackson. The couple was holding hands upon their entrance. 35-year-old Jackson looked debonair in a black velvet jacket, bow tie, and black suit. Middleton and Jackson are rumored to be engaged. Zara’s Growing Baby Bump


Zara Phillips, Queen Elizabeth II’s granddaughter, showed off her growing baby bump as she attended the glamorous and prestigious high-society Boodles Boxing Ball escorted by her husband Mike Tindall. Five months pregnant Zara Phillips looked sophisiticated and positively glowed in her floor-length silk maxi gown by materity brand Seraphine, a dressmaker which was also popular with Kate Middleton during her pregnancy. The accomplished horse rider completed her stylish look with a pair of black high heels and a glittering gold clutch purse. Her blonde hair was styled casually yet elegantly in a low ponytail. Phillips smiled as she looked happy to enter the Grosvenor House Hotel where the event was being held on the evening of September 21st, 2013.

Several other famous Royals attended the Boodles Boxing Ball as well including Zara Phillip’s cousins Prince Harry, Princess Eugenie, and Princess Beatrice. The girlfriend of Prince Harry, Cressida Bonas, accompanied him to the ball and was seen riding in the same car as Princess Eugenie. Prince Harry looked quite debonair in his black tuxedo. Green Carpet Challenge


Fashionable Royals stepped out on the evening of September 16th, 2013, to attend the Global Fund’s charity event Green Carpet Challenge at London’s Apsley House. Gowns created with sustainable fabrics were on display designed by Roland Mouret, Victoria Beckham, Burberry’s Christopher Bailey, Christopher Kane, and Erdem Moralioglu. Kate Can’t Make Wedding!

kate_can't_make_wedding_highsocietytimesKate Middleton was unable to attend the wedding of close friends Lady Laura Marsham and James Meade held at St. Nicholas Parish Church in Gayton. James Meade is the son of Olympic three-day eventer Richard Meade while Lady Laura is the daughter of the Earl of Romney. The couple issuch close friends of William and Kate that Meade even gave a speech at the Royal Wedding back in April of 2011.

Prince William looked dashing in his dark jacket with tails and deep gray pinstriped trousers. He complemented his stylish ensemble with a white rose in his suit pocket and a red tie. Prince William served as an usher for the event. Prince Harry arrived later wearing a cream waistcoat and pale blue tie under a long jacket. Also in attendance was Kate’s sister, Pippa Middleton, garbed in a fitted teal dress with matching hat and a clutch purse.

While the Duchess of Cambridge found it necessary to stay home and care for her infant son, Prince George, on the occasion of the wedding, the Duke and Duchess did leave their son in the care of a nanny for their first evening out since Prince George’s birth. In her second public appearance since the birth of her son, Prince George, the Duchess of Cambridge wore a sparkly silver sleeveless dress created by one of her favorite designers, Jenny Packham. The elegant floor-length gown highlighted her figure beautifully showing off how quickly she has regained it since the birth of her infant son. Kate Middleton accessorized her outfit with a diamond bracelet given to her as a wedding gift from the Prince of Wales and Jimmy Choo high-heeled platform sandals.

The event was a conservation awards dinner in London called the Tusk Conservation Awards and it was the first time these Awards had been held. The dinner was held to celebrate the work of wildlife conservationists and was on the evening of the same day the Duke made his announcement that he was leaving the Armed Forces partially to concentrate on protecting endangered species.
