On August 30th, 2013, Prince Muhammad Ali of Egypt and Princess Noal Zaher of Afghanistan tied the knot in an extravagant marriage ceremony at the Palace of Ciragan in Turkey. This union is quite unique as both the bride and groom possess royal heritage. Prince Muhammad Ali is the eldest son of Fuad II, giving him the title of Prince of Sa’id. The prince was born in Cairo in 1979. Princess Noal Zaher is the granddaughter of the last king of Afghanistan, her father being Mohammed Daoud Khan Pachtounyar. Princess Noal Zaher was born in Rome in 1980.
The happy couple met just over a year ago in Istanbul when the prince was on holiday and announced their engagement in April of 2013. For the wedding, the princess wore an ivory wedding gown with beaded applique and an intricate lace overlay. Additionally, she wore a tiara, a tulle veil, and diamond jewelry to complete her look. Members of both royal families attended the affair, with the bride’s mother, Fatima Aref Begum, posing for family photographs alongside the beautiful couple. Also posing for the photograph’s were the prince’s father, King Fuad II, the last reigning monarch of Egypt, and the groom’s siblings, Prince Fakhruddin and Princess Fawzia-Latifa.
Princess Noal Zaher graduated from the French university Institut Saint-Dominique with a degree in European business and then went on to specialize in jewelry design at Webster University in London. Prince Muhammad Ali currently resides in Paris where he works in the real estate industry.
